This page is part of our rendering buying guides, and each studio profile links to the studio's own website.
Five points to compare
Five points decide most studio choices: portfolio in the project type, qualified staff, published pricing, stated revision rounds and stated turnaround. A buyer can check all five before the first call, and they most often decide whether a project runs to budget. Image quality depends on your project type and taste, so each profile links to the studio's portfolio.
| Criterion | What to look for on the studio's site | Why it matters to a buyer |
|---|---|---|
| Portfolio in the project type | Published work grouped by sector or service: residential, commercial, interiors, products | A studio's strongest work shows where it is practised; work outside it is a guess |
| Qualified staff | A statement of who does the work: architects, designers, artists, a principal | Someone who reads drawings catches errors before they cost a revision round |
| Published pricing | Any price per view, per project or per hour printed on the site | A printed price lets you budget before you send files |
| Stated revision rounds | A number of included rounds, or a rule for what counts as a change | Unstated revisions are where final invoices grow |
| Stated turnaround | Days to a first draft or to final files | A written time is one you can hold a studio to |
If none of the studios below suits your budget or volume, compare whether a studio or freelance 3D modeling fits the job better.
Architectural visualization studios compared
The comparison table lists each studio with its base, specialism, whether prices are published, and its stated revisions and turnaround. Landmark studios come first, then production studios with published prices, then our own studio. The table records whether a studio publishes prices, not the figures, which change often; each profile links to the studio's own site.

Architectural visualization firms differ most in what they publish, not in what they render: the six landmark studios print no prices or terms, while the production studios print an entry price and usually a turnaround. Landmark studios quote every campaign individually because each one is different, and a phone call will get you the answers.
Studio profiles
Each profile states in three or four sentences what the studio is best for, with a link to its own site, where its portfolio sits. Read them with your project in mind: a branded tower launch and a set of approval images for a medical office need different studios.
Neoscape
Neoscape has studios in Boston, New York and Chicago and says it has made renderings, films, brands and digital experiences for over 30 years. Its work spans visualization, film, VR and AR, branding, websites and digital marketing, across residential, institutional, sports, healthcare and higher education clients. It suits a developer who wants the renderings, the brand and the sales website from one agency. It publishes no prices.

It suits buyers who want a fixed package price for a small set of views.
Where we fit
3DRenderingAgency is one of the production 3D rendering companies in this guide, not a landmark campaign agency: a remote team that includes architects and interior designers, with an address in Newark, Delaware, serving clients in the US and worldwide.
- Portfolio: our 3D architectural rendering portfolio shows concept work made by our team.
- Staff: every file is read by our own team, so the drawings are read right the first time.
- Quote: a fixed quote within 12 hours of receiving your files, covering modeling from your drawings or model at the level the brief describes; every 3D rendering price is on our pricing page.
- Revisions: two rounds included, spent on refining the image because the drawings are read correctly the first time.
- Turnaround: first draft of stills in 3 to 5 business days; rush delivery in 48 hours, subject to capacity.
Choose a landmark studio over us when the images are one part of a branded campaign with film, a sales gallery and a website. Choose us, or another production studio in the table, when you need accurate approval and marketing images, read correctly from your drawings, with full commercial rights.
Which 3D architectural visualization company is the best?
No single architectural visualization company is best for every project: high-end landmark studios suit marketing campaigns with large budgets, while production studios suit regular approval and sales images on written terms. The deciding questions are what the images are for and how many you need. A tower launch with a film and a sales gallery belongs with a campaign agency. Approval images for a planning board, a set of interiors for a client presentation, or ten house types for a builder's website belong with a production studio that reads drawings and puts its terms in writing. Our own architectural rendering services show what a production studio of architects does for an approval or sales set.
The best 3D interior rendering companies
For interiors, choose a studio whose staff includes interior designers and whose portfolio shows specified finishes rather than generic stock furniture. An interior sells on the exact stone, timber and fabric, so ask to see a room rendered from a finish schedule, not only a styled showroom. The table lists the studios above that print an interior turnaround, with their stated revisions.

| Studio | Interior turnaround printed | Revisions stated |
|---|---|---|
| ArchiCGI | 48 to 64 hours | Corrections included while changes stay under 60% of the project workload |
| Trim Render | First draft in 1 to 2 business days | 2 draft versions, then the final at 6K |
| Rapid Renders | 2 to 4 days for a small space | Five rounds |
| Render3DQuick | 3 to 4 days | 1 to 2 rounds on most projects |
| Fortes Vision | 7 to 10 days | Three rounds of edits per image |
| 3DRenderingAgency (our studio) | First draft in 3 to 5 business days | Two rounds included |
What interior designers should ask a studio for, from finish schedules to lighting plans, is covered on our page on interior design rendering.
What does an architectural visualization studio do for your project?
An architectural visualization studio lets clients, review boards and buyers see a building before it exists, so decisions on finishes, massing and layout are made on an image rather than on site. Planning boards and landmark commissions see the building in its real context, so approval meetings go on the design instead of on reading drawings. Developers use the same images to market and pre-sell units off-plan, long before a show apartment can be built. And when the studio's own team reads plans, sections and finish schedules, the first draft is close to the design and the revision rounds go on refining it.
Why do architects send renderings to a studio?
Architects send renderings to a studio so their design hours stay on design, while a team that reads their drawings turns the model into approval and marketing images on a fixed schedule. A per-view quote with dated drafts lets the practice plan a planning submission or a client presentation around known dates, and full commercial rights let it reuse the images in its portfolio and competition entries.
Can AI replace a visualization studio?
AI tools produce fast concept images but do not hold measured geometry or specified materials, so they complement rather than replace a studio for approval and marketing images. An AI image of a lobby is a plausible lobby. A review board or a buyer needs your lobby, at your dimensions, with your stone.
What is the best AI for architectural renderings?
The AI renderers that work from your own 3D model are the most useful for architects, because the geometry stays yours and only the surface treatment is generated. Tools that start from a text prompt alone are for mood and option studies. We cover what AI rendering tools do well, and where they stop, in our software section.
Checklist: compare studios yourself
Use the same five criteria on any studio you find: portfolio, staff, published price, revisions, turnaround.
- Find three projects like yours in the portfolio. Look past the hero images to ordinary views of your building type.
- Ask who reads your drawings. The answer should name roles, such as architects or interior designers.
- Get a written quote per view. Confirm what it includes: modeling, resolution, revision rounds and usage rights.
- Get the revision rounds in writing. Ask how many are included and what a further round costs.
- Get a dated schedule. Ask for the date of the first draft and of the final files, and what happens if a date is missed.
The full method, with ten questions to send to every studio on your shortlist, is in our guide to choosing a 3D rendering company.
