Cookie & Tracking Policy

This policy explains the cookies, browser storage and cookieless visit counting used on the 3DRenderingAgency website and client account, how consent works in your region, and how to change your choice. It applies to all visitors.

1. What we use

This policy explains the technologies 3DRenderingAgency ("we", "us") uses on 3drenderingagency.com (the "Website") and in the client account at account.3drenderingagency.com (the "Client Account"). It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.

In this policy, "cookie" means a small text file a website stores in your browser and sends back with later requests. "sessionStorage" and "localStorage" are areas of your browser where a website can keep small amounts of information; unlike cookies, they are not sent to our servers automatically.

1.1 No tracking or advertising cookies

Our Website does not set any cookies for tracking or advertising. We do not use advertising pixels, cross-site trackers or third-party analytics cookies on the public Website.

1.2 Cookieless visit counter

We use a cookieless visit counter to see, in general terms, how visitors find and use the Website. It does not place anything in your browser. For each page view it records the page path, page title, referrer, campaign tags (UTM parameters and gclid), your country and region (derived from your IP address), your device type and your browser.

Your IP address is not stored. To tell visits apart for one day only, the counter uses a salted hash of your IP address, browser string and the date. The salt changes daily, and the hash cannot be reversed and cannot link your visits across days. Visit records are kept for up to 24 months.

1.3 sessionStorage

The Website stores the first page of your visit, the referrer and any UTM tags in your browser's sessionStorage. If you then request a quote, this lets the quote record how your visit began. sessionStorage is cleared automatically when you close the tab.

Your choice to accept or decline visit counting and browser storage is stored in your browser's localStorage for 12 months, so that we do not ask you again on every visit.

The Client Account uses a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. Without it, the account cannot work. It is not used for tracking or advertising and is set only in the Client Account area.

3.1 Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your choice first. Visit counting and the sessionStorage described above start only after you accept. If you decline, or make no choice, they do not run. The consent choice itself and the strictly necessary account cookie are used without consent because they are required to provide what you ask for.

3.2 Visitors elsewhere

If you visit from anywhere else, visit counting and sessionStorage run by default unless you decline. You can decline at any time using the "Privacy choices" link, and they will stop for your browser.

We determine your region from your IP address at the time of your visit. The IP address is not stored.

4. How to change your choice

  1. Select the "Privacy choices" link in the footer of any page on the Website.
  2. Choose to accept or decline visit counting and browser storage.
  3. Your new choice takes effect straight away and is saved in localStorage for 12 months.

You can also clear sessionStorage and localStorage, and block or delete cookies, through your browser settings. If you clear localStorage, we will no longer remember your choice and may ask you again. If you block the account session cookie, you will not be able to sign in to the Client Account.

5. Third parties

No third-party cookies are set on the public Website. We do not embed third-party advertising, social media or analytics tools that place cookies in your browser.

When you pay an invoice, the payment is handled on Stripe's checkout. Stripe sets its own cookies there, for purposes such as fraud prevention and keeping the payment secure. Those cookies are controlled by Stripe and governed by Stripe's own privacy and cookie policies, not by this policy.

Our infrastructure providers, listed in our Privacy Policy, process data on our behalf to deliver and secure the Website, but do not set advertising or tracking cookies on it.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the technologies we use change. We will post the new version on this page with a new "updated" date, and material changes will be emailed to account holders. If a change means we need your consent again, we will ask for it.

Questions about this policy can be sent to sales@3drenderingagency.com with the subject line "Privacy request", or through our contact page. See also our Terms of Service and our Refund & Revisions Policy.
